Artist Profiles | Leanne L'Hirondelle

Leanne L'Hirondelle was born in Alberta, Canada. She works as an independent curator and artist. Her art practice has focused on issues of gentrification, and globalisation.

She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts (University of Manitoba), MFA (University of Saskatchewan) and a Certificate of Art Theory and Criticism from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She recently completed a Martin Muillens internship at The Field Museum of Chicago and is presently working as Director at Gallery 101, Artist Run Centre in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
